ASRock X570 SATA Interface slowdown issue
#ASRock X570 SATA Interface slowdown issue
ASRock X570 Taichi There is a problem that the SATA6 interface speed does not come out properly on the motherboard.
Below is the result of testing on the AMD Ryzen 1700 + X470 motherboard.
You can see that all the values come out normally with high values.
However, below is the test result of ASRock X570 Taichi main board.
I used the same SSD but all the figures were significantly lower, especially 4K values fell by more than 50%.
The Sandisk Ultra 3D 1TB was used for the test SSD and the specifications of the PC are as follows.
> CPU: AMD Ryzen 3900X
> M/B: ASRock X570 Taichi
> RAM: Corsair 3200Mhz XMP 8G*4 (CL16-18-18-36)
> SSD: SAMSUNG 970 PRO 512GB (O/S)
> ETC: C-state OFF, Ryzen Blanced Mobe
> O/S: Windows 10 1903(19H1)
> BIOS: ASRock X570 Taichi 1.60 ver
> AMD Chipset Drivers: 1.07.07.0725
In addition, we tested when the ASRock Thunderbolt3 AIC expansion card was installed and when it was removed.
However, the two results were almost identical.
The BIOS of AMD's X570 motherboards seems to be quite unstable.
This issue is also occurring on some X570 motherboards from some other manufacturers.

The image below is the result of testing by plugging into the M.2 (SATA) interface slot from the X570 chipset.
The SSD uses the WD Blue 3D M.2 SATA 1TB product and as mentioned above, the speed problem is equally serious.
